I've thought about this in so many different ways, that I'm actually starting to lose the plot. I can't rotate the actuator the right way up, cause it doesn't attach to the build due to missing snap points! And when I press (PageDown) it moves down. (because remember its upside down)īut I want the top actuator (also upside down) to be assigned to '-Pitch' so that when I press (PageUp) it moves up. So the bottom actuator assigned to 'Pitch' I press (PageUp) it moves down. I know it sounds very confusing, but yes I want to control two actuators at once.īoth actuators are aligned Upside Down on top of each other, orientated in the same direction.īut I want the top one to move up and the bottom one to move down at the same time and speed using only one button press. Or am i misunderstanding your point ? you want to control 2 actuators separatley and at same time ? meaning you need in one operation mode 3 input axis with positive and negative values and also the aditional option of assigning another input axis on said actuators ? soo let me ask, how in the mighty world of legos will more keybindings fix your problem ? you pointed "the flaw" yourself out, you need a negative value in said actuator. We need a -Pitch Input Axis option in the drop down list. They both go in opposite directions like I want them to, but I CAN'T control both hinges AT THE SAME TIME as one is in standard mode and the other is in operation mode, this is STUPID! And I can't assine negative values to the 'Max Input' which would account for to reversing issue.ĭoes that make sense? I hope so because the game is unneccessarily clumbsy without it.ĮDIT: Just to be clear, it works fine when I assign PitchAlt to one of the Hinges. I want to reverse that, but I cannot because I can't assign '-Pitch' as an 'Input Axis' which would solve the problem outright like PitchAlt does. It goes UP when 'PageDown' is pressed and DOWN when 'PageUp' is pressed. To try and explain in a more simple way I have an upside down 'Hinge' actuator (its upside down for a reason and can't be changed) the actuator is open at 180 degrees, using 'Pitch' as an example for 'Input Axis'. *It would be NICE if you could assine a negative Input Axis without having to press 'alt' and therefore move multiple actuators at once in different directions!!!*įor instance 'Pitch' and '-Pitch', so that when you press page up (default) one axis goes one way and another axis goes the other direction, I have found this problem in one of my builds that the only solutions I could think of for doing this would be the ability to assign negative values to the 'Max Input' (which sounds stupid I know). You should have 16 different input axes available for actuators, half of them in normal and the other half in operation mode. From this point the controls should be fairly clear, and I'm sure you can figure the rest out.Originally posted by Fluppi393:You can adjust the input scale on actuators in order to reverse them (negative values). When a high enough speed is reached your plane will be lifted into the air, and you can now use the mouse to fly around, letting the engine pull you forwards automatically. It doesn't matter how hard you're pulling because as long as your pulling the wings will be forcing the front of the plane up. You're picking up speed now, and you want to slowly pull back with your mouse. To sum up what I've said so far, you're on your runway of choice, you've now entered operation mode, and the engine is fully throttled. Please note that this mode will throttle the engine to full speed, so make sure you're ready to take off (you can always shift to neutral before entering this mode if you don't want the propellers to spin) when in operation mode you will control pitch and yaw (tilting up or down, and rotating left or right) with the mouse, this means you won't be able to move the camera normally unless you toggle operation mode again by pressing left ALT. Once in place you need to enter operation mode by pressing left ALT. Use this to position yourself on a good runway. One you have the fighter spawned ingame you can drive it much like any other vehicle. For this explanation I'll help you get the default fighter off the ground. Flight controls in brick rigs depends very much on the creation you're flying.
